MacFixes is made by Pilas Studios LLC, which also makes MagicMouseTap and Mando.
The app
Every fix runs on your Mac. MacFixes doesn’t send what you type, copy, play or click anywhere. It checks once a day for updates, and sends a fix request only when you press Send — the request text, the optional email you give, and the app and macOS versions.
Your account and subscription
To unlock the app you sign in with Google or an emailed link. We keep your email address and an account ID, and use them only to check that your subscription is active. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card. We keep your subscription’s status, plan and renewal date so the app can unlock.
This website
If you request a fix here, we store what you wrote and the email if you give one. If you subscribe, Stripe collects your email and payment details and we email you the download and sign-in steps.
We measure how the site is used with Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, and our own first-party analytics, which records the pages you visit, the links and buttons you click, and which plan you choose. It identifies your browser only by a random ID kept in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie), stores your country and device type but not your IP address, and never records anything you type.
Who handles it
Supabase stores the database and runs sign-in, Stripe handles payments, Vercel hosts the site, and Resend sends our emails — all in the United States. We don’t sell your data or share it for anyone else’s advertising.
